Vocational and Technical skills
These include trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical installation, welding, tailoring, fashion design, interior design, architecture, auto mechanics, and masonry. Such skills are in constant demand and provide immediate opportunities for self-employment.
Life and Soft Skills
Communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills enhance employability and workplace effectiveness. These skills are essential for long-term success.
Agro-Processing Skills
Given that agriculture employs a large portion of Africa’s population, programs focusing on modern farming techniques, livestock management, aquaculture, agro-processing, and value-chain development are highly impactful.
Entrepreneurship and business development skills
Training in business planning, financial literacy, marketing, branding, customer relations, and basic accounting helps participants turn acquired skills into sustainable enterprises.
Digital and ICT Skills
Digital skills such as computer literacy, Artificial Intelligence ( Ai) graphic design, coding, digital marketing, data entry, and mobile phone repair are increasingly relevant

STREET TO HOME PROJECT
The Street to Home Project by VEF is a compassionate, community-based initiative designed to support individuals experiencing homelessness by guiding them from life on the streets to stable housing, dignity, and self-reliance.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM ACROSS AFRICA
This outreach program engages communities in rural settlements by providing food assistance, medical outreach for the elderly and young children, educational materials as well as tuition to support out-of-school children.
